Infant Program

Our infant program provides loving, nurturing caregivers who truly care for your child’s well-being. We focus on fostering your baby’s growth and development through attentive, personalized care. Special attention is given to creating a safe and stimulating environment, where babies are introduced to healthy social and emotional interactions, early language exposure, body awareness, and motor skill development.

Our daily routine is thoughtfully balanced to accommodate each infant’s unique needs, including feeding times, playtime, naps, and individual hygiene care.

Toddler Program

Our toddler program offers a flexible schedule designed to meet each child’s evolving needs. Every day, toddlers engage in a variety of activities that encourage voluntary participation, group interaction, and teacher-guided learning. Through hands-on exploration both inside and outside the classroom, children discover the world around them in a safe and stimulating environment.

We create a nurturing atmosphere where growth, learning, and plenty of time for cuddles are at the heart of the program.

Our Preschool & VPK Program

Our preschool offers a flexible schedule to meet each child’s needs. Our dedicated staff nurtures social and emotional development through interactive play, fostering sensory, motor, cognitive, and language growth. Classrooms are equipped with age-appropriate materials that spark curiosity and active exploration.

VPK is a free program for Florida residents whose children turn 4 on or before September 1. Enrollment requires proof of age (birth certificate), residence (utility bill), and a parent’s photo ID.

Our VPK program prepares children academically and socially for kindergarten in a nurturing, creative environment. It supports holistic development—social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual—through hands-on experiences at each child’s pace.

Experiential Learning

We provide a balance of teacher-directed and child-led activities, encouraging participation in individual, small group, and large group settings. Our eight learning centers (Art, Block, Dramatic Play, Math, Music & Movement, Science, Reading, and Writing) promote skill development, problem-solving, and self-discovery, while teaching cooperation, listening, and sharing.

Our program concludes with a visit to an elementary classroom, giving children the chance to experience and prepare for the transition to kindergarten.

FLKRS or Florida Kindergarten Readiness Screener

FLKRS is administered to all kindergarten students in the first 30 days of school to assess readiness. The results help teachers tailor lessons to individual needs, inform parents, and reflect on the effectiveness of VPK programs.

Our VPK students are well-prepared for FLKRS, thanks to our emphasis on critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. We also incorporate language scaffolding to strengthen language and vocabulary skills.

Our VPK program aligns with the Miami-Dade Public School Calendar and is offered during the school year and summer.

Smart Board Technology

All our VPK classrooms are equipped with smart boards, creating an interactive and dynamic learning environment. Smart boards enhance both teaching and learning by providing visual content and touchscreen features that encourage engagement. Research shows that using smart technology boosts test scores, literacy, comprehension, and attention.

APPLE Accreditation

Our center is accredited by APPLE (Accredited Professional Preschool Learning Environment), one of Florida’s largest accrediting agencies for early learning centers. APPLE is recognized as a Gold Seal Quality Care program, a distinction reflecting our commitment to high standards.

Private School Program

Our certified, highly trained teachers offer individualized instruction, fostering inquiry, collaboration, and critical thinking. Small class sizes ensure personalized attention and respect for each child’s cultural background. We follow the Miami-Dade County Public School calendar and provide free nutritious meals daily.

ABEKA Curriculum

Our program uses the Christian-based ABEKA curriculum, offering excellence in Bible, reading, writing, math, science, history, and geography. ABEKA promotes:

  • Intellectual Growth: Traditional, grade-level instruction prepares students for success on national benchmarks and future academic challenges.
  • Moral Development: Character education builds integrity and responsibility.
  • Spiritual Growth: Daily Bible lessons nurture love and respect for God, family, and community.

Stanford Achievement Test (SAT 10)

Our students are well-prepared for the Stanford Achievement Test (SAT 10), measuring achievement in language arts, reading, math, science, and social studies, fostering critical thinking and creativity.

Smart Boards Technology

All classrooms are equipped with smart boards, interactive tools that transform lessons into engaging experiences. These boards enhance teaching and learning by projecting visual content and allowing touch interaction, making lessons easier to follow and more dynamic. Research shows that smart technology improves test scores, literacy, attention, and comprehension.

APPLE Accreditation

Our center is accredited by APPLE (Accredited Professional Preschool Learning Environment), one of Florida’s largest and most respected accrediting agencies for early learning centers. APPLE accreditation is recognized as a Gold Seal Quality Care program in Florida.

Year-Round Enrichment Classes

At My Happy House, our commitment to holistic development is reflected in the enrichment classes integrated into the school day throughout the year. These include Physical Education, Spanish, Art, and Bible classes, all thoughtfully designed to nurture different aspects of each child’s growth.

Physical Education promotes healthy habits and physical confidence through engaging movement activities that support coordination, teamwork, and motor skill development.
Spanish Class introduces students to the language and culture, building early communication skills and global awareness through songs, stories, and interactive lessons.
Art Class inspires creativity and self-expression, helping students explore various materials and techniques while learning about famous artists and styles from around the world.
Bible Class encourages moral development and spiritual growth by teaching timeless values such as kindness, gratitude, and compassion through age-appropriate stories and discussions.

These classes not only enrich the school experience but also help develop well-rounded, curious, and thoughtful individuals.

Extracurricular Activities

Ballet Program

The My Happy House Ballet Program offers children unique opportunities for creative self-expression and positive learning experiences, using the arts as a framework for understanding life. Through an interactive, hands-on approach, students engage in discovery that is both fun and non-intimidating, while also developing critical and creative thinking skills.

Our young dancers are introduced to various cultures and historical periods of dance, fostering an appreciation for diversity and promoting understanding and tolerance. The program emphasizes the development of gross motor skills—including jumping, skipping, and hopping—enhanced through musicality and movement.

The My Happy House Ballet Program is not only a fun and enriching activity but also a powerful tool for building self-discipline, confidence, and respect for authority figures. By nurturing both the body and mind, our program helps guide children toward becoming responsible, respectful, and well-rounded individuals.

Chess Club

The My Happy House Chess Club provides children with a dynamic environment to explore the art of strategic thinking and problem-solving. This seasonal program is designed to challenge young minds while fostering patience, focus, and sportsmanship. Through guided instruction and friendly games, students learn the fundamentals of chess, including tactics, planning, and decision-making skills.
In addition to cognitive development, the Chess Club offers a valuable opportunity for students to practice resilience and perseverance in a supportive setting. Participation encourages logical reasoning and enhances memory, attention, and concentration. Whether beginners or budding grandmasters, all students benefit from the critical life skills cultivated through the game of chess.

Summer Camp

At My Happy House Learning Center, our Summer Camp program is designed to give children a perfect blend of educational enrichment and summer fun as they explore the world around them.

Each week, children are immersed in hands-on activities that nurture their curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills. With a wide range of engaging themes, every day at camp is an opportunity for children to express themselves, learn something new, and build friendships.

Exciting Weekly Themes
Children will dive into imaginative weekly themes like Crazy Hat Day, Backwards Day, Paint Party Day, and more—where creativity and fun take center stage.

Field Trips and Adventure
Our Summer Camp wouldn’t be complete without field trips to places like museums, parks, water parks, and movie theaters. These excursions give children the chance to experience hands-on learning outside the classroom while having a blast.

A Safe, Nurturing Environment
Our certified and highly trained staff ensure that every camper is safe, happy, and encouraged to explore, create, and grow.
