At My Happy House Learning Center, we believe in nurturing the child by providing a supportive physical, social, emotional, and spiritual environment that fosters healthy development. Through engaging social activities, children learn the values of love, respect, and sharing.
We also offer a variety of enriching experiences designed to spark creativity, enhance intellectual and cognitive skills, and cultivate a strong sense of security, confidence, and self-esteem. Our goal is to empower each child to reach their full potential in a nurturing and inspiring atmosphere.
Our Curriculum
Our highly qualified teachers use the Creative Curriculum, Starfall, and Abeka to nurture children’s interests and inspire discovery
Creative Curriculum
Our youngest learners, from 6 weeks to 2 years, begin their journey with Creative Curriculum, a comprehensive, research-based program designed to support the whole child. It emphasizes hands-on exploration and discovery to help infants and toddlers develop cognitive, language, social-emotional, and physical skills. Teachers provide a nurturing environment where curiosity is encouraged, and each child's individual growth is fostered through play, music, sensory activities, and interactive learning.
Starfall Curriculum
For our preschool students, ages 3 to 5 years, we integrate Starfall, an interactive program that makes early literacy and math engaging and fun. Through the use of colorful animations, engaging songs, and games, Starfall introduces concepts such as reading readiness, phonics, numbers, shapes, and problem-solving. This program builds a strong foundation in reading and math, helping children transition confidently into kindergarten.
Abeka Curriculum
Our K–1 students, ages 5 to 7 years, benefit from Abeka, a well-rounded curriculum with a focus on academic excellence and character development. Abeka's phonics-based approach to reading, along with comprehensive lessons in mathematics, science, social studies, and Bible, ensures that children are well-prepared for future academic challenges. The program also integrates handwriting, language arts, and critical thinking skills, fostering a love of learning in a structured yet nurturing environment.
